Pricing Overview

What to Expect

Please Note: These are simple guidelines to give you an idea of what to expect on pricing. Each situation is different and can be more thoroughly quoted by filling out our contact form or giving us a call. We also offer discounts on multiple stumps at one location.

No surprises. We price by the inch — $4 per inch for softwood, $6 per inch for hardwood, with a $150 minimum on the first stump. Send us your photos and we'll reach out with an initial estimate. Final pricing is always confirmed in person before any work begins.

🪵 Hardwood (Oak, Pecan, Hickory, Walnut, Magnolia, Cherry, Elm) $6 / inch

First stump minimum $150

Each additional stump minimum $50

Multiple stump discounts Available

Measure your stump at the widest diameter near the ground, including any visible root flare. Not sure what type of tree it is? No problem — just let us know in the form and we'll figure it out together.

Photo Requirements

How to Take Your Photos

To give you the most accurate initial estimate, we ask for 3 photos. Here's exactly how to take them:

Side View

Stand at least 8 feet away from the stump and take the photo from about 2 feet above ground level. This helps us see if the stump is beveled into the ground — which can mean it's larger than it appears from above.

Top View with Tape Measure

Place a tape measure across the top of the stump at its widest point and take a photo looking straight down. This gives us the diameter we need for pricing.

Surrounding Area

Step back and take a photo showing the area around the stump — fences, structures, rocks, slopes, or anything nearby that could affect access or the job.

⚠️ Utility Lines

Do you know of any underground utility lines near the stump? If you're unsure, we recommend calling 811 (Call Before You Dig) before work begins. It's free and keeps everyone safe.
